Susan and I were blessed with two sons, Jesse and Paul. As they grew up, Jehovah was with them. (1 Sam. 3:19) Because they made the truth their own, they make Susan and me look good. They have continued to serve Jehovah because they have remembered their own first love for him. Each of them has been in full-time service for over 20 years. Also, I am proud of my two beautiful daughters-in-law, Stephanie and Racquel, whom I view as my own daughters. He states that by learning about the ''four horsemen'' in Revelation 6:1-15.... "You will see clear evidence that you an I are living in the last days.'' He goes on to ask, "When did the ''four horsemen" begin their ride? He answers..."1914"
This talk was probably given by Charles Crazed Russell in 1870s, Judge Slime Rutherfraud in the 1920s, and this young fool in 2018. And, I'm sure this same talk will be given many more decades from now.
Just like for-profit Corporations that strive to stay in business by any means, the WTBTS has been in business since the late 1870s.
How do you stay in business for so long: REPEAT AND RINSE. WAIT FOR MEMBERS TO LEAVE, DIE-OFF OR REMAIN IN, AND WAIT, AND WAIT, AND WAIT......... TAKE IN NEW MEMBERS AND REPEAT THE PROCESS.

I'm not a Bible scholar and my 40 years of learning false teachings and assumptions from the Watchtower Society took my thinking abilities away. Here are some questions I have:
How can one ''event'' have a two-fold prophecy and take 2000 years to come to a finality?
How can the destruction of a ''temple'' turn into the ''destruction of Armageddon''? How did Armageddon even get in the picture?
Did Jesus or any apostle writings ever mention an event such as ''Armageddon''?

An unbiased reading would place everything between verse 5 and verse 27 as something Jesus was predicting for (then) contemporary Jews.
Claiming that verses 5-27 must have a dual fulfillment is, in reality, an admission that they don't understand all of what Jesus was talking about.After you read Mark 13 ( unbiased....after you leave the Watchtower Society mindset ) in full context, you finally begin to see how the Watchtower Society twists Mark 13:1-30.
Mark 13 was fulfilled (as you wrote): within Jesus's ''this generation,'' not as a dual fulfillment.

i’ve always found it funny when a scripture is quoted and applied to whatever point they’re trying to make, but where it was taken from in the bible passage has nothing to do with what they’re getting at..

The brother begins to explain that Jesus is giving the apostles a composite prophecy/a two-fold prophecy because some events Jesus was talking about was affecting the people in the first century and some other events have a would affect the time period that we're living in today(2018).After 40 years of being a Jehovah's Witness and having this scripture pounded into our brains, the twisting of this scripture really amazes me. Now, I stand back and see many-twisted scriptures taught by the Watchtower Society. Talk about twisting scripture to make it say what you want it to mean.Jesus was only addressing only Peter, James, John, and Andrew...not any other generation or period. The flip-flops and changing doctrines are not coming from the Governing Body but from Jehovah God.
